Traveling down the east coast by bus was beautiful. Plus we met some interesting folk, including a Korean woman who'd lived in New York for 10 years, and an OLD Buddhist monk. He was quite the talker and our new friend translated his bits of wisdom. The one we remember the most is: try to be AWARE of what you're doing and thinking all the time. Ever try that? Whew!

So we arrived in KyeongJu, the cultural capital of Korea, late that evening. The next morning we bussed to Pulguksa, the biggest temple complex in the country.
