Hong-do is a beautiful island about 2 hours' boat ride from Korea's southwest coast. It's really tiny--there are no cars, not even any real roads, just a few narrow paved paths running through the tiny settlements. We spent Cheris's 26th birthday relaxing there, as we had a few days off for Chuseok, the Korean "thanksgiving" holiday. Here are the pictures Rob shot during our wanderings and on a sightseeing boat we took around the island. We never seem to get tired of the funky rock formations on Korea's coastline...
